She deserve it for what she has alrdy achieved in this type of competition na nadi-discriminate sya sobra..let's just support and be proud of her Proud Mary rendition..=)
Nakakaloka si showbizaddict. My dear, Beyonce is 30yo. Jessica is only 16. The mere fact that she can do what Beyonce is doing is not enough for you para hangaan sya? Can you imagine if na-master pa nya yung craft nya, what she can achieve pa? Bat ba hindi nalang pwede matuwa for others na magaling - and proud to be a Filipino pa sya!
She's 16 and can sing like that! What more do u want? Oo madami tayong magagaling pa sa kanya dito sa pinas.. Pero sya ang napili sa american idol, thats her destiny.. Yes she may(if thats what others think) copy beyonce or other great divas but she is freaking 16 y/o!!! Ikaw ba kaya mo yan nung 16 ka?

sorry guys kung naoffend kayo sa opinion ko.hindi ako nega. siguro nag expect lang ako ng something original To deserve all the hype.. bilang marami namang pinoy artists dito sa atin na bata pa lang ang may mga sarili ng style of singing (hindi gaya gaya) pero hindi natin napapansin kasi hindi sila nakatapak ng America. I have nothing against Jessica herself.. yung reaction at pag overrate ng tao sa kanya yung sinasabi ko.kulang na lang sambahin sya ng iba ngayon. para syang Magnum Ice cream. ok sya pero para sakin hindi nya deserve yung sinasamba-levels na reaction.. :)
So what if other people put her on a pedestal? Let them be because that’s their choice. Don’t put someone down just because you don’t like them that much. Don’t miss the big picture which is that Jessica is a half Filipino competing in a nationwide singing contest in one of the most watched TV shows in the US. She may not be as great as some of the local talents here but she has caught the attention of several US artists, critics, writers, and TV viewers and that I think is enough to make any Filipino proud and support her.

No offense kay showbizaddict. chos. pero guys wag nating kemein yung reaction ni skylar nung almost na-out si Jess, it was just a plain reaction, we do not even know what came out of her mouth. I've seen a lot of backstage pics na nakapulupot si Skylar kay Jess, nakahug, inaayos yung buhok. She even hugged Jessica's mom when she went onstage nung na-save si Jess. They are friends. And she may be a good person who does not deserve the mockery. Shet ambait ko eh noh? Lols. Let's just all be happy and PRAY FOR JAY! :)
