I played the video twice and I cried twice. Jessica is being bashed on the american idol forum and there's so much hate being thrown at her just because she's not really the typical american having Filipino and Mexican heritage. This song is her way of reaching out to her detractors and proving a point that she is not going anywhere but to the finale.
To those who can't vote, please just give your support in the american idol forum. Let's show her some Filipino love :)
I've just seen the video of Jessica's rendition of "And I'm Telling you" and i was so impressed and mesmerized! She is, undoubtedly, the greatest singer among the 4 idol11 finalists! Phillip's style of singing is getting so monotonous, and it's basically the same kind of style over and over again, while Hollie is simply a bore.Yes, her voice is powerful, but that's about it. Nothing else. And Joshua..i do not seem to understand why he's always given a standing ovation. He's good..no doubt, but his voice is not pleasing to the ears..it's all shouting and screaming! And he's not a pleasant sight to look at. There's like a thousand other black guys out there who are definitely better than him. I just hope that Jessica wins, coz she's the most deserving. But Americans are very biased when it comes to voting. It's a good thing that there are a lot of Filipinos and Mexicans in the U.S. It's going to be toss up between Jessica and Joshua, Phillip 3rd and Hollie 4th. -JMR

And i love it that she's an intelligent singer! Since she has no love experience, she channeled the moment when she was almost voted out. This was what Jennifer told Hollie when she sang i cant make you love me... It lacked emotion cuz she didnt know That she could gather such emotion from other situations like asking america to vote for her.
She reminds me of those little girls who join Pinoy singing contests. Mga batang kumakanta ng adult birit songs. Tapos eksakto ang galaw sa stage. Tama ang blocking at sabay sa kanta ang kumpas ng kamay. Kaya pala, lumaki rin siyang ganoon.
Hindi nila alam na staple na sa pinoy ang mga ganitong kanta hehehehe. Hangang hanga sila nung kumanta si Jessica ng I will always love you, eh dito sa Pinas, hindi ka kontesera kung di mo kayang kantahin ang mga yan!!! Luv being Pinoy :)
Bakit ganun utak ng ibang tao, laging relative, mas magaling, mas maganda... Minsan ang topic nasa isang tao lang tapos ikukumpara na lang sa kung sino-sino. SA youtube laging ganito, lalo na mga fans nung sarah geronimo at charice. ok, sige na nga, mas magaling si regine, si pilita corales, si sylvia la torre!!!
