so true. I had been watching AI every season, the minority will always compete to the end, but still either WHITE (mostly) or BLACK prevails as winner. Reality, this is a white american country. When it comes to voting, they won't let their race go down, even though they are not as talented as the minority contestant, just an observation.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree, there's absolutely nothing wrong in having Pinoy pride. Why can't one's race be a source of pride? We produce talented singers that are world class and that's not something to be proud of? Dito sa US, I constantly see different races who celebrate their heritage and people, while us Pinoys constantly deny ourselves. This is why hindi umaasenso ang Pinas, pati sariling bansa, ikinahihiya sabihin sa mundo. With everything that's happening in the Philippines, we should do our best to promote Filipino people that puts us in a better light.

I think Jessica is the one to beat. Pero because of her race, malamang hindi siya ang ultimate winner. AI still goes for caucasian winners unless a non-caucasian is really good.

Pansin ko lang, every season may pumapasok sa finals ng AI na pinoy pero we only learn of their being pinoy through research from the internet o kaya na interview ng filipino news. Pero never nila na disclose na pinoy or half pinoy sila. Unlike the other foreign finalists na sa umpisa pa lang sila na nagsasabi na may ibang lahi sila and they even speak/sing in their language on the show. Read: Hee Jun tayo lang nagsusumigaw na pinoy sila eh.
