The invitation said the screening starts at 2pm. The press and the photographers arrived on time and were eager to meet the applicants. THREE hours later, nothing was happening at the venue. The press people were restless and starving. The organizers did not provide food for them.Worse, the organizers asked them to step out of the venue and return 20 minutes later. The press then saw the applicants still practicing when they came back. They wondered if the screening would ever start. After almost an hour, food was finally served.
Given the events that transpired, an important point is whether the organizers can get their act together by starting on time and respecting the media. After all, media people can make or break the future of the chosen contestants and the contest itself. Now, was the MORE than FOUR-hour wait of the press worth it?
One guest commented that the event overflowed with applicants who had all guts and confidence. Those traits are good but it was a screening for a prestigious beauty pageant.
ReplyDeleteLovely pretty captivating
ReplyDeleteBP!! easy!!
ReplyDeleteParang gusto kong mag carousel..
ReplyDeleteNasupsop na kasi ang mga organizers lol
ReplyDeleteDito nanggaling sila Major major at tsunami no?
ReplyDeleteI guess the pageant's name is the initials of the title.
ReplyDeleteorganizer-cubao
ReplyDeletenakaka tass ng Blood Pressure 'yan!
ReplyDeletetumaas siguro ang Blood Pressure ng press while waiting..
ReplyDeletesometimes i think the media/press people are quite demanding... makagawa ka lang na displeasing sa kanila wait for a day and a bad rumor will be circling around... pero kung totoo man to shame on the organizers of the pageant!
ReplyDeletebaka may buni :P
ReplyDeleteMay bago pa po ba. Db nga kilala tayo sa pagiging late? So dapat pag sinabing 1 or 2 or what ever time is it mag umpisa saka na kayo dumating after 5 hours db tama ang payo ko? he he
ReplyDeleteAng TARAY!!! ALL GUTS, NO BEAUTY! wahahahaha! =))
ReplyDeleteThe press should not depend on the organizers for food. They're there to cover the event, not to party. But they should be respected by starting on time.
ReplyDeletesana inapprove mo yung mahaba kung "comment". i think people have the right to know. hindi lang politicians ang nagbebehave badly at makapal ang mukha.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely, pretty, captivating, so exciting... BP
No offense lang, noh! hahaha
