The Sarcastic Spokesperson

This female celebrity was hired by this certain company to be its official spokesperson. Part of her job is to promote the company's latest corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. Apparently, this company made the wrong choice of hiring her because she does not like entertaining too many questions from the press.

After the official launching, there were many reporters who were eager to interview her so they had to be divided into smaller groups. When it was the turn of the second group of reporters to ask her questions, she said "Bakit interview na naman?" in a rather sarcastic tone. She went on mumbling about her gown and that she cannot wait to get out of it and change into something more comfortable. Left with no choice, she half-heartedly answered two questions and off she went. 

Do you have an idea as to who this female celebrity is? Always observe the guidelines in writing comments and remember that initials and comments that are too explicit will not be accepted.

    Can't believe this beauty queen has a nasty attitude? I thought she's "relihiyosa"? And their family is not naman that rich for her to whine and complain all the time. Humility prevails no matter what sana.


    Also, i was impressed before na beauty and brains siya but there have been stories about her "bad attitude" of late. Tsk! Wonder if she is really "mabait" talaga. Hmmm ...

    I dont get it. Bakit kapag napapagod ang isang artista/public figure ang comment ng mga tao BAD ATTITUDE na agad?! Kayo ba hindi? Dont you also whine? Seriously almost 9 out of 10 Filipinos are probably WHINERS! Punta ka sa office, bawat tao makasalubong mo may irereklamo - from office hours, traffic, weather, salary, family issues, etc. Punta ka sa mall, yung mga kelngan iinspect ng bag nagrereklamo. Filipinos WHINE about everything. SERIOUSLY.

    About this BI though, since she will be paid by the company, its her job to do it. She should be informed of these situations but I dont think that it reflects BAD ATTITUDE already.

    If a person complains that she/he's tired, does it reflect bad attitude?

    Sana hindi nalang siya tumanggap ng endorsements kung alam naman niya ang takbo ng showbiz, e nakikita na siya sa TV malamang ang daming interview.. Di niya ba naisip yun. Nagtatrabaho lang din naman yun mga reporters. At porket ba topnocher sa board exam at grumaduate ng may maraming honors e wala ng masamang ugali? Tss. Buti ng siya pagsagot lang sa interview problema niya, e pano pa pag trabaho niya ang maginterview at maghabol ng artista? Hindi lang siya ang napapagod no.

Showbiz is like one long endless beauty pageant, smile lang ng smile kahit gusto mo na sakalin ung co-stars or tiga press. She wanted to take advantage of the opportunities, she should suck it up then kasi hindi naman sya pinilit tanggapin ung endorsement. Being matalino doesn't explain her bad behavior, it just makes her look worse. Baka lack of breeding lang, un walang pinipili ke matalino o bobo pag ala breeding ala talaga.

One press release stated that S is particularly supportive of the brand's breast cancer awareness program, and has even joined publicized activities related to the said program...

    It doesn't really mean bqd attitude agad but the thing is, she's in the business now whether she likes it or not. She represents the company and the least she could do is portray it well. Yes, she's human, she gets tired, but if she wants to whine, do it off cam, not in front of the press. Its just good conduct -- or if not, proper etiquette.

    She joined the pageant and im pretty sure she knows what comes after. Hindi masamang maging humble. Yung iba na mas may karapatan umarte ng ganyan sila pa yung tahimik at magaling makisama.

    mabait si tsunami. got to work with her very recently. yung mga hangers on nya pa yung mabagal kumilos. she would always oblige anybody who requested for a photo with her kahit na pagod na pagod na sya. swerte nya at maganda palagi registration nya sa photos kahit na simpleng simple lang suot nya at wala masyadong ayos. tsaka sinusulit nya bayad ng client at talagang beauty queen ang delivery nya sa occasion. mabait at bagets na bagets pa talaga. also, maayos kausap. madaming nahuhugot sa topics with anybody who wants to talk to her. matalino talaga. sana hindi sya tumagal sa showbiz kasi sayang ang utak.

    I don't really know her personally but I go to the same gym as her. It's possible that it's the Beauty Queen, but not because lumalaki ang uli. She goes to the gym with the other pageant (local) winners (the runners-up), and I hear them talking (I don't eavesdrop, I just have very acute hearing, hahaha). She's always been open to them and even to their PT that showbiz or being an aesthetic royalty has never been a path she was interested in. It had always been the one who discovered her and the people around her who pushed her into it In fact, before the Universal pageant, I heard her say that she was not sure that she wanted to win, because it will prolong her being in the spotlight when all she really wants is to practice her profession (where she top-notched in the board and graduated with top honors). But she also said that of course, she will still try her best since winning will bring honor to the Philippines. Maybe it's not that "lumalaki ang ulo", but that she's just getting tired of the limelight she got pushed into. She probably accepted being spokesperson since she cannot yet practice her profession but has to earn a living.

    @anon 11:27 i read her interview sa yes mag hirap cia magtagalog kasi mas bihasa cia magbisaya... kaya mas preferred nya magsalita ng english kesa tagalog.... hindi cia sanay sa mundo ng showbiz let's not be harsh on her.... kahit sabihin pa na dapat masanay cia s gnun....di ganun kadali yun.... kasi yun mga reporter din nmaan minsan sobra kung magtanong... opinion ko lng naman.... =)

    I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS. I had an encounter with this feelingera na straw queen. My mom saw her somewhere in Cainta. Gusto magpapicture ng nanay ko tapos bigla ba naman siyang tumingin ng hindi maganda and napilitan lang lumapit. Pasalamat siya tuwang tuwa sa kanya mom ko kung hindi nasuwag ko na tong bruha na to eh.

    appreciate those comments here from people who someway, had personal encounter with her. I saw pictures of her and her friends, i can say that her classmates way back in college really supported her. Her former officemates were one in supporting her. I think she is a person who holds on to her belief/principle. She won't waive them to please other people. In fairness to her, it seems like she's really exerting effort to do her job

    Schoolmate ko siya. She was very simple in school, walang intriga about her. She dresses in a simple manner and does not appear conceited at all. I think she is just tired of showbiz already. Maybe it has gotten to a point wherein sobrang drained na siya. Even in her interviews she always answers modestly and genuinely. Nasabi niya nga sa interview niya sa with B.A. na "di talaga siya the showbiz type" and inamin niya on the spot that she is seeing someone.

    she wasn't even interested in joining pageants and being in showbiz, as stated in an interview with a showbiz columnist of a national daily.

    she does have to play the part until early next year when a new girl comes along, and i think she'll be so relieved to be out of the limelight. it's great that she's rather pursue her profession, teach in her university and take further studies abroad. at least she doesn't need to linger in showbiz to earn a living. parang default expectation na kasi ng mga tao na dapat magshowbiz pagkatapos ng pagiging "reyna".

    This will not change my respect for her. What she has accomplished so far will show that indeed, she's determined, self-desciplined, hardworking and fears God.

    I don't think she's a bad person or even " lumaki na ang ulo" as some people would hasten to conclude. Not to justify her actions no but let's consider the fact that her orientation and inclinations had always been academic, sinabi naman niya sa interviews na she's the type who would rather read than go out. There are certain types talaga na hindi natural for the showbiz glitz and glamour lifestyle. Siguro napu-frustrate rin siya and she misses the academic rigor and yun nga as earlier pointed out her inability to practice her profession. She's not just cut out for showbiz. Naiintindihan ko siya. Maybe she has contractual obligations to fulfill until the duration of her reign, but after that I hope she'll go back to pursuing here real dreams. I suppose she accepted the gig to be spokesperson bec. she truly believes in certain advocacies such as women empowerment.

    i think she has to learn how to deal showbiz life, when you decided to be an endorser and you signed a contract with such things, you really have to do it kc you were being paid by the company, otherwise, sna tinanggihan na lng nya and binigay na lang sa iba ung opportunity.

    yes of course lahat nmn ng tao napapagod pero when you are a showbiz personality you have to deal with it appropriately and in a well-mannered attitude.

    yan kc mahirap pag pinipilit lang ang sarili sa showbiz eh, sna lang isipin nya "strikes whilst the iron is hot" kc next year for sure di na sya ang bida meron na ulit papalit sa knya.
