Da best pa din ang station ID na ito compared to the other networks. Pero this is not the best from ABS. The best saken yung last 2009 (correct me if i'm wrong), yung si Bro ang Star ng Pasko, just saying. :)
I appreciate the theme of this Christmas SID of ABS and truly can relate as I am also an OFW. People in the Philippine are not aware that for most of us, OFWs book our flights in May or June, even though approval from management for our leave is not yet final.
Indeed, pasko ng pilipino is the best! Cant wait for my flight! Yes! Lapit na bakasyon ko.. See you NAIA hahaha!! Hope to see FP in person =D
Every year naman maganda talaga ang xmas station id ng abs-cbn.. Laging may recall at ma-LSS ka talaga... And this year consistent pa din sila.. Pero may laban ang tv5.. mas catchy yung kanila at mas ok ang tunog ang problem lang konti lang nanunuod sa kanila kaya parang di ganun kabenta sa tao.. So wala kang naririnig na nakanta ng xmas id song nila sa kalsada unlike pag abs-cbn..
maganda yung mensahe, magandang panoorin. big budgeted! Bongga! mga handa pa lang sa hapag kainan, ang laki na ng gastos. sana lahat ng pasko ng Pinoy ganito, no? i dunno, siguro nakakasawa lang minsan yung acting na acting. getting close to the madlang people seemed so plastic. di naman talaga nila ginagawa sa totoo, di ba? ewan, maybe the GMA id made me realize this. makes me want to like the GMA id more! hahaha yung song ngayon compared to the last 2 christmases, parang di ko masyado like yung beat or tempo ba? masyadong mabagal, it gets boring. btw, to all the TFC subscribers this is for you. merry xmas! my vote nga pala, like but it gets boring. the best part for me is when i saw luis and billy having fun. =)
To All tv stations, ABS CBN indeed is the best in creating Christmas station id. Very heartfelt and realistic. Namimiss ko tuloy family ko. Nasa abroad kasi father at kuya ko.
Watched all the Christmas Stations ids.. di hamak na walang tatalo sa Kapamilya, pero favorite ko pa rin ang "Star ng Pasko"... :D

ABS always comes up with really well-thought station IDs for Christmas.. but this is not my favorite. The chorus of the song is not as catchy as the previous ones. the lyrics are beautiful as always. But the melody just didn't work for me... well except for the intro. but if i were to rank the station IDs "1" being the highest: 1. ABS-CBN 2. TV5 3. GMA-7 (what were they thinking?)

PREDICTABLE nga sya --- PREDICTABLE ang quality at ganda nya :-) aanhin mo naman ang masaya pero PANGIT naman. This is the only station ID worth watching. The others are mere waste of air time.

God. Everytime I watch this, I cry a river. I just recently moved to the US and spending the holidays here is not as festive as spending the holidays in the Philippines.. Iba naman kasi talaga pasko ng pilipino. :)
Nothing really beats ABSCBN's station ids (mapaSummer station id o rainy season station id pa yan, waler talaga tatalo). In my opinion lang naman. This year may not be as catchy as their Star Ng Pasko last 2009, pero super nakakataba ng puso. :)

yung concept touching, pero yung song and the singer...hindi ok. Mas tumatak pa rin yung last year na song. para sakin yung ang THE BEST. at Sana ang kumanta na lang yung mga original kapamilya singers, marami naman magagaling na singers sa ABS di ba, although i have nothing against M. Aragon.

i think i would have to disagree na it's original. ilang beses na ba ginamit ang concept na OFW at paskong malayo sa pamilya? at ilang beses na rin ba natin narinig na kakaiba ang pasko sa Pinas? di ba parati na man. the song sounds monotonous, repetitive, slow which is probably why it got me bored na parang ayaw ko ng taposin. Compared to 2009 and 2010, i'd say it's mediocre. It lacks something what the id's of the past 2 years have. I can't exactly say what. yung contagious or catchy quality yata ng song wala. Conclusion ko: just ok, but i didn't like it.
Last year's Christmas Station id is better... but still ABS-CBN has the best... far best station id this year...
2nd runner up goes to TV 5.
GMA 7, hwag na magpumilit kung hindi naman kaya gumawa ng maayos.. parang estudyante na basta makapagpasa lang ng project, walang quality pero poo 75 ang rating.. yan ba ang number 1?
maganda ang lyrics.. its really about christmas and family. but honestly, it gets so annoying sa last part where the chorus gets repeated like a hundred times. plus, i dont like maria aragons voice. sorry. =P BUT! the bast parin ABS-CBN.. but i like last years song waaaay better. =)

The song alone is nice. Pwedeng ihanay sa classic Filipino Christmas songs. Yung "Star ng Pasko" nga years ago parang ka-level ng "Christmas in our Hearts" sa recall. :p
Eto ang Pasko...Pagmamahal ang pinagsasalohan. Eto ang Pasko...Inaangat ang isa't isa. Eto ang Pasko...Panginoon ang laging kasama. Eto and Pasko...Saan man sa mundo, da best ang Pasko ng Pilipino....
even if they say it's predictable i think maganda pa rin dahil may puso ang pagka gawa. alam mo na may gusto silang ipahiwatig sa SID nila. hindi ko rin gusto na si maria aragon ang kumanta pero i understand kung bakit siya ang pinili ng ABS kasi nasa canada siya and for OFWs or mga Filipinos ito na nasa ibang bansa pero irrelevant naman yun eh so points down pa rin dahil di gusto ang voice ng batang eto sorry peace... hehe but the best pa rin ang CSID ng ABS tapos 2nd TV5 and pls kailangan pa talagang isali ang walang kwentang CSID ng GMA???

Corny, as usual. Too much airtime given to a crappy song. Buti na lang there's Fox and Starworld, where i can tune in to whenever this song is on.

ReplyDeletei think i would have to disagree na it's original. ilang beses na ba ginamit ang concept na OFW at paskong malayo sa pamilya? at ilang beses na rin ba natin narinig na kakaiba ang pasko sa Pinas? di ba parati na man. the song sounds monotonous, repetitive, slow which is probably why it got me bored na parang ayaw ko ng taposin. Compared to 2009 and 2010, i'd say it's mediocre. It lacks something what the id's of the past 2 years have. I can't exactly say what. yung contagious or catchy quality yata ng song wala. Conclusion ko: just ok, but i didn't like it.

GMA 7, hwag na magpumilit kung hindi naman kaya gumawa ng maayos.. parang estudyante na basta makapagpasa lang ng project, walang quality pero poo 75 ang rating.. yan ba ang number 1?

Maganda yung lyrics pero parang hindi catchy yung tune. Medyo masakit din sa tenga yung voice further into the video.

Pero ABS' station ID is still the best this year. :)

ReplyDeletemaganda ang lyrics.. its really about christmas and family. but honestly, it gets so annoying sa last part where the chorus gets repeated like a hundred times. plus, i dont like maria aragons voice. sorry. =P BUT! the bast parin ABS-CBN.. but i like last years song waaaay better. =)

ang ganda nga ng XMAS Station ID, pero sa labas ng building mga nag employees na nag ra rally.. hindi daw kapamilya ang turing sa kanila :-(

The song alone is nice. Pwedeng ihanay sa classic Filipino Christmas songs. Yung "Star ng Pasko" nga years ago parang ka-level ng "Christmas in our Hearts" sa recall. :p

ReplyDeleteeven if they say it's predictable i think maganda pa rin dahil may puso ang pagka gawa. alam mo na may gusto silang ipahiwatig sa SID nila. hindi ko rin gusto na si maria aragon ang kumanta pero i understand kung bakit siya ang pinili ng ABS kasi nasa canada siya and for OFWs or mga Filipinos ito na nasa ibang bansa pero irrelevant naman yun eh so points down pa rin dahil di gusto ang voice ng batang eto sorry peace... hehe but the best pa rin ang CSID ng ABS tapos 2nd TV5 and pls kailangan pa talagang isali ang walang kwentang CSID ng GMA???
