This actor has just decided to let go of the generous offer of the rival network. According to a reliable source, he was offered more than 400 million pesos a year to transfer to the said network.
I can imagine how difficult it was for him to resist the offer and I admire him for doing so. His loyalty is commendable unlike this other actor who grabbed the 750 million peso offer (good for 3 years, with or without work) without even having second thoughts. I just hope that he does not regret his decision someday.

ReplyDeleteActually, it was a smart move for him.. He just won a FAMAS award for a movie that Kapamilya produced. He knows well that his strengths are in movies and world tour which kapamilya is giving him. What they are offering is just money, he knows that he wouldn't have that enough exposure or the network hasn't proven yet that they could create a movie that will be better of what Kapamilya has produced. He knows that he could earn that 750M with Kapamilya.. Especially with P's situation nor D's. He knows that he (J) could do A LOT better how G acted (puro pacute lng) with S in their latest movie "won't last for the entire movie..?"

Regarding the BI, I don't think this is J kasi the offer to him is higher than 400M, I think si ex ni dyosa to... And the 750M is morning cotton na mala dora the explorer ang tv show ngayon...most likely the title was meant to confuse you guys :p I don't believe this is D na bf ni A dahil he's not worth the money mentioned pwede ba, both his box office movies are credited to his co-stars and NOT HIM...

Di masyadong halata na bitter rival station fantard ka. Hello, In The Name of Love, remember? Box office hit. Di man lang kasi napantayan ng Primetime Queen mo kahit ang daming support sa cast. Ngayon isinama na sa Panday 2 para makatikim man lang ng blockbuter movie. LOL!
In fairness, yung other actor lagi kong pinanonood yung show niyang tungkol sa paglalakbay at dinosaurs. Other than that, lalo siyang malala-ocean deep sa career niya.
Si popoy din bet ko dito. Kudos! Kikitain naman nya ang pera na yan even if he will stay sa Kapams network PLUS the fact na forever magiging visible sya dahil, aminin natin, mas wider ang coverage ng dos. Aanhin mo naman ang sobrang laking TF kung after ilang years, questionable na ang staying power mo.
ReplyDeleteAs for his teamup with Lobo girl, unfair naman ang nagsabi sa taas ma jinx eto. Her movie with Morning was a hit kaya. Check nyo sa boxofficemojo. Not to the level of Praybeyt Benjamin or No other woman but it stayed sa Top 5 highest grossing local movie this year. Shes also very visible on commercial ads and pati print na rin plus magazine covers. For me yun ang gauge whether laos na ang celeb or not - endorsements.
I think this is popoy, I think the ka brotherhood network needs to pirate first the brain behind the success of kafamily not their artist.

ReplyDeletefor popoy, this is the best decision that he ever made for his career, dos is still no 1 abroad, pag gumawa sya ng movie sigurado hit na tpos meron pang intl screening plus their shows. ok na ok ung ginawa nyang pagstay with dos, and dos brings out the best in him, sobrang tiwala sa knya khia. sino pwede na ipartner sa knya. his tandem with A, i think ok lang kc positive nmn even sa endorsements. hindi nmn laos si A mas nagiging magaganda ung projects nya ngayon hindi laging teleserye unlike ung si reyna M sa kabila na sa teleserye lang nasusubukan. iba kc ang movies, dun mo makikita if sikat ka kc tinatangkilik ka, binayaran ang performance mo unlike sa free tv lumalabas ang exposure.

At malabo rin na mas mataas pa ang offer ni platoon leader D kay J, ibase nyo naman sa pag-arte, di hamak na magaling si J. Kahit mas like ko pa si D (dahil handsome and sexy) kesa kay J, marunong naman akong kumilatis ng may dekalidad na artista. At kung lilipat man si D, I don't think na mabibigyan sya dun ng magandang career, kasi iba pa rin magbigay ng project ang Kapamilya, kapag nakita nila na may potential kang mag-click sa tao, bibigyan ka talaga ng pansin kahit baguhan ka lang. Ang strategy kasi ng Kapatid eh kumuha ng mga sikat para mapansin ng mga tao, pero kapag pinapanood mo na ang show, parang wala lang. :D

His 2 recent hit movies (kahit na hindi pa sya ang bida) plus him being a leading man to famous actresses on many soap operas and movies, probably made him worth that. And besides, J was offered 400M A YEAR! I repeat, A YEAR! which means mas mataas pa rin ang value nya kaysa kay D. Pero sana hindi silang 2 ang BI na ito, nor ex ni dyosa kasi that means di ko na sila makikita pa sa TFC, eh I like them pa naman! :( Can't believe ina-analyze ko talaga tong BI. Look at what they have done to their news and current events arm (broadcast and online news portal), andami dun dating taga PDI and other reputable orgs. Si Sir R. na dating head ng isang media alliance sa Southeast Asia, ngayon top honcho na ng news dept ng Kapatid. To think around a million na sweldo nya. Malamang, tinapatan. Matter of time lang siguro kung kelan talagang lalakas ang entertainment dept nila. Sana ayusin talaga nila muna yung programming nila.

Take Popoy and Basha, for example. Sumikat sila because of their characters, not because of their personality per se. Sumikat because of the memorable lines, the scenes, the movies. And I think aware sila Popoy and Basha about this. And I think Popoy was smart enough to figure out that he wouldn't be able to do much kung lilipat siya pero wala naman siyang magagaling na katrabaho behind the scenes sa lilipatan niyang studio just in case. I wonder if the creatives of his mother studio are getting offers. They should be offered loads more than these artistas. Pero how much is loyalty worth? I hear there's a solid, loyal team in the film arm of the Kapamilya network. I think the network is trying its best to take care of these people kasi nandito ang totoong source ng yaman nila.

Mukhang di nila makukuha yung creative team. I hear those people are not too keen on the money. They really are committed to doing great films lang naman talaga. Yun yung impression ko sa kanila when I attended a seminar/conference they organized this year sa MOA.
yes sa typical work, hindi uso ang loyalty kasi mababa naman mga sahod natin kaya kung san ang greener pasteur dun tayo! sa mga case ng mga bigating artista like popoy, di lang monetary factor ang consideration ng preferred workplace nila kasi:

2. they need to assess first san ang makakatulong sa kanila stay on the limelight. staying power kumbaga
3. they need to hone their talent kasi yun ang gauge ng kanilang status
so it all boils down kung ano talaga makakatulong sa career.
kung gusto nila umangat agad dapat ang try nila i pirate eh si Mr. M ng star magic! hahaha! hindi yun panay pirata nila.. dapat yata THE PIRATE NETWORK ang tawag sa kanila at hindi kabrotherhood! haha

ReplyDeletekc kung ganun parang impocble naman yatang c popoy yan.. ibig sabihin yung inoferan ng 750m (na fling ko c D.) eh mas malaki pa ang ang offer kesa ke popoy????? impocble nman yata yun! kasi kung png 750m na c D, malamang png 1B na c popoy! kaya papalitan ko n lng ung hula. fling ko ung ex ng dyosa ung 400m.
pero kung cno man yang worth more than 400m, mas tama sa kfamily n lng sya. aminin naman natin, khit anu pa ung sinasabi ng rating ng kheart, eh ung kfamily pa rin ung #1 sa pinas. dagdagan pa ng tfc ng kfamily n sobrng sikat din. hindi naman talaga sikat at hindi klala ung mga tga kheart. iilan lng ang sikat dun. kung sila nga ang #1 sa rating dba dpat sikat sila? kasi sila ung tinutukan, pinapanuod, at klala ng mga tao?

ReplyDeletemga readers pwede ba read carefully naman. si J was offered 400M per Year. si D was offered 750M for 3 years! so 250 per year ang kay D! naku naman o! yes, D is transferring to be a brotherhood for 3 years. offer is just too big to refuse daw. after daw sa contract niya ay mag qquit na siya sa showbiz. tama lang yun kasi by that time 39 years old na din siya noh! hahahahahahahaha

You mean, kahit maghihilata siya sa bahay, ultimong oras na jumejebs siya, kumikita siya ng more than 1 million pesos a day? Parang hindi kapani-paniwala itong figure nato, lalo pa yung 750 million.

nag-deny na si D, under contract pa kasi sya with ka-family.. so baka nga si A, na hubby ni C yung nag-accept, kasi with or without project naman, and he's know na, saka di naman yata sakop yung movies, so he can still do movies with other producers...
ReplyDeleteahay. good move kahit malaki ang offer ng kapatid. dyos ko kahit lumipat sila ng network that doesn't mean pati mga viewers lilipat din ng channel na papanoorin. kapamilya still has the quality shows.
