  12. YES. I believe that love could not be destroyed by the color of your gown. Pamahiin lang yang dapat no black kase malas DAW sa pagibig. Mga tao kayang ipag laban ang pag ibig nila sa ibang tao pero takot na takot sa kulay.

  13. Yeah, I would. Besides it's THE Vera Wang, it's not all about the wedding after all, but the Marriage.

  25. Not all cultures wear white wedding gowns. If you go to Singapore, a lot of the bridal shops offer gowns in various colors—blue, red, green, even black. I went to a wedding in SG where the (Taiwanese) bride wore turquoise.

  27. Yes! The 6th photo please. I know I'm too skinny for black so I think a touch of color would help. Been dreaming of wearing a black gown. I wish my groom would agree! :P

Oh, and the 2nd and last gowns--- to die for! :)

  31. a co-bride to be in a wedding site forum posted these similar photos because she wanted to wear black for her wedding and she asked for opinion if its ok to wear black because she already got a go-signal from her fiance but she's kinda worried what will be the reaction of her invited guests, particularly her family and relatives, friends too :) she got mixed answers like ok lang daw as long as di sa wedding susuotin kasi depressing daw ang color black, associated nga sa death and its morbid. Weddings are supposed to be a fun and joyous event, why would you wear black? :) I know our culture is very ma-pamahiin and traditional, Filipinos are known for that. A little trivia, do you know why Tessa Prieto wears very funky, outlandish, fashionable outfits? Before she started wearing the cool outfits, she used to wear black because that's her favorite color of all time. Then her brother passed away and at the funeral of course people were wearing black and some white, that got her thinking na ang black pala eh synonymous to being sad and lonely kaya nag-change na sya ng kanyang wardrobe and stopped wearing black. Alam ko kanya kanyang prerogative naman yan and it's still a bride's decision kung magsuot sya ng black gown :) In the end, the bride-to-be who posted the pics in the wedding site forum decided to wear a black gown kasi dun daw sya magiging masaya, hehehe! :) Thanks for reading, gusto ko lang magshare :)

  32. I have nothing against black wedding gowns. I actually think they look more elegant than the white ones pero I think I'll go with the traditional white gown on my own wedding. :)

  36. A big fat NO!
Black for me is death, unhappiness and boring!
If its a wedding, and wedding for me if something sacred, respect, happiness, clean and purity...so definitely WHITE color is best for wedding kung ayaw mo naman magmukhang malungkot, hindi ka masaya and nag momourn ka. IMO lang ha! :)
