My client, Mrs. Rachel Valerie Go-Chua, was terrified when she came across the Fashion Scam article involving her wedding gown designer, Puey Quinones. After reading the story, she made it a point to check on the development of her wedding gown week after week. Yesterday, she finally marched down the aisle looking radiant in her wedding gown by Puey Quinones. Apart from the unavoidable zipper malfunction, she was totally satisfied with the final product.
Richard, the groom, wore a beige tuxedo by the same designer. This time I assure you that the tuxedo did not have a Danzen tag in the inner pocket.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Rachel Chua! Best Wishes!
uhmm...nice naman.:-))
ReplyDeletesana maging ok na ulit image niya :) ganda ng creation nia..
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gown! But I still wouldn't trust a designer with a history of retagging and unprofessional service.
ReplyDeletenakakatuwa ka mike, i love it when you tweeted, you believe in second chances.. teacher ka nga :)
ReplyDeletenaisip ko lang bigla... sabi ng sender is walang Danzen tag yung tuxedo ni groom? e syempre, mas naging maingat na malamang si PQ if ever man magre-retag sya. alangan namang magpahuli ulit. hehehe... *peace po*
ReplyDeletethe gown reminded me of this...

Mukhang kinopya yun idea sa link na pinost ni anony 1:38AM. wla talagang originality itey na baklush... ang mandaraya ay forever na mandaraya.
ReplyDeletein business, one's name and credibility is something that will see you through. pag yan ang nasira, mahirap na mabalik ang tiwala ng tao. it takes years to build a good and solid reputation, paano pa kung nadungisan at na-eskandalo ka na? honestly, i couldn't "appreciate" the gown for what it is because i was still thinking about that caper he pulled recently. all i could think was "re-tagged kaya ito?" for his own good, i hope that PQ will not get into a similar mess and rebuild his name by doing honest work just like everybody else.
ReplyDeleteBumabawi lang yang si PQ para malinis yung image nya. Pag limot na ng lahat yung retagging incident, magloloko na naman yan for sure.
ReplyDeleteNot from Dansen. Neither from P. This is an inside collaboration with somebody who works for a tiny company but serving high profile clients whose Brand can exclusively be found in an upscale department store. This Brand's forte is men's formal wear. It has another branch at GB5 where there is a provision for ladies' formal wear from selected designers including P. Unknown to the aged owner of this Brand, his Right hand has been collaborating with P whenever P gets male clients using company resources but company doesn't benefit from it. Right hand gets a portion of what P charges his clients. And by the way, P is a common friend by the aged owner and Right hand. And Right hand is the ex of the aged owner. The Dansen scandal shouldn't have happened if Right hand was in the country that time. P calls Right hand mother. Right hand calls P daughter. What a mother-daughter tandem! Complicated? Just drink Beer from your streetside sari-sari store with all those Gamu-gamo flying around.
ReplyDeleteLet's give puey a chance..
ReplyDeleteFP, you're a kind soul for giving him credit.
I love FP! I really have nothing but well wishes for your blog. Continue entertaining and inspiring us.
bride and groom look gorgeous... but i doubt if puey could ever rise from the ashes again.
ReplyDeletethe gown looks good , but as what the above said, I wont even dare take the risk of trusting him again
ReplyDeleteAng ganda nung gown!
ReplyDeleteCorrect. Puey, if you're reading this, i chose you to create my wedding gown. But after the Dansen scandal, i will never ever risk my once-in-a-lifetime event because you couldn't deliver in an honest and satisfactory manner. Brides, if you are willing to spend that much on a gown, make sure you have someone more responsible (and credible) do it.

ReplyDeleteI think I found the mother with the men wearing tux and brand trousers at the sari-sari store way back. The owner's old age is a myth, she looks young kaya?! Sabi pa ni Bag Hag Diaries who btw wears eye popping shoes, aged owner " is really lovely". Apart from heart misjudgment, as an entrepreneur, 'aged owner' is a smart cookie. What a gem, huh?
i so got this piece of the puzzle!!! yay!!!
Give the guy a break. He paid for his mistakes. Some comments are just horrible. Have some compassion.
ReplyDeleteits nice! wow.. keep up the good work puey.. wish you all the best.. dapat tuloy tuloy na yan ha.. will see you when we see you..
ReplyDeletethanks mike for this post.. atleast we know now that he's being a good boy already yeah? hehehe.. more power to fashion pulis!
Hindi ko na gets yung clues ni anonymous tipper. More clues please!
ReplyDeleteregarding the zipper.. pag nasira during the wedding day no second chances for that... better use a good quality zipper.. a lot of designers still use zippers made in china which are not durable and reliable... better use YKK....
ReplyDeletesya ba talaga tumahi nyan? hmmmp...
ReplyDeletePLEASE READ this post before you even think to consider his wedding gown!

He's wrecked and destroyed someone's life and nearly kill the person
Omg! The fit! The gown is dirty looking! Ang the grooms suit is not well made. Sorry guys, i would rather pay for an imported designer suit with the same ambitious price than his garbage creation
ReplyDeleteparang cake topper.
