I used to visit my friends in Manhattan almost every year but it has been a while since I was last there. Whenever I am there, my friends would bring me to the Meatpacking District to dine in the different restaurants in that area. Some of my favorite restaurants there include Pastis, Buddakan and the Spice Market.
Last month, some celebrities from a giant network were partying in one of the restaurants in the Meatpacking District. This certain actor suddenly laid eyes on a beautiful Filipina Mestiza in her 20’s. The actor approached her and found out that she was just vacationing in New York City at that time with her friend. The actor was very interested with her but she looked rather indifferent. So he began to use lame pick up lines like “Do you know me? I think you would want to know me.” When it did not get her attention, he went on saying “I'd like give you my business card as I am well connected back home. I can hook you up with the right people for sure."
From a distance, the girl's friend sensed that she was feeling uncomfortable with the actor so she quickly moved towards them and told the actor straight to his face that her friend was not interested with him. Feeling insulted, the actor defensively replied "Don't you know who I am? I am a celebrity in the Philippines. For sure you'll have a change of heart if you find out who I am" The two girls were extremely annoyed with what they heard so they decided to ignore him. Discontented, before walking away from the them, the actor abruptly said "Who are you by the way? I don't even know you!"
In reality, the two girls were familiar with the actor. Who would not? He is one popular guy. The girl whom the actor was hitting on was just not interested with him because she found his character to be very unattractive. By the way, to answer the question of the actor regarding the identities of the two girls, they are actually daughters of billionaires from Cebu.

I know the network and thats about it :( Diba part of this network sojourn sa US yung girl na may halitosis, yung girl na mahilig sa girl and yung couple na rumored na nahospital for an unusual condition? But clue naman which guy? Did he look unkempt (which my friend described one star from that network) or was he hali's ex? clues please!!!

ReplyDeleteSomething similar happened in Vegas. My bf's friends were at a club, this was just after the Pacquiao/Mosley fight. A Filipino actor kept hitting on my bf's friend's gf -- this gf looks like Angel Locsin, but way hotter than the actress. Super kulit daw nung actor, so finally the bf grabbed him by the collar. The actor said something like "Pare, cool, we're all Filipinos here." Ganun?! Shongerz pala siya eh, the bf is Asian pero not Filipino. Anyway, I don't know the identity of the actor (yet), since my bf and his friends aren't familiar with Philippine showbiz. Some of the club dj's just told them the f**ktard is an actor in the Philippines.

ReplyDeleteOh my I know this D guy! We were out with friends, and one of our guy friends brought him along since they're friends (they're both car guys). He was with R, his tisay gf at that time (break na sila now--hint hint!). Since the group were made up of couples, D was making pa-cute to us girls, trying to make eye contact with each one and smiling slyly when he thought his gf was looking the other way. Of course, we all knew who he was, pero sobra shang feeling (to think he's not even that cute at sablay ang diction nya) so we all ignored him, and some of us even rolled our eyes at him. After a while, he looked really uncomfortable, whispered something to his gf, then told my friend he and his gf were leaving. HAH!

Sabi ni D, and I quote, "You don't want this? Si *insert his name here* ata to." The cherry on top -- he did the "gwapito gun-fingers" under the chin as he said it. Cheapipahoy.

Clue: The actor has speech problems. Can't speak english well so whenever he has TVCs, they have to dub his voice with a double.

My friend was like errr no sorry (pero she knows him.. na-feelingan lang) and he kept making pa cute and then my friend said.. " my friend told me you're married with this actress with kids wtf" .. actor was still pursuing after that. exag. poor wife that's all I can say.

OH! This is D alright! He was here in Davao a couple of years back and he was sitting alone at a bar. Of course lots of people were there too since it was a Saturday night. Everyone was dancing and all and he's wearing shades and a cap as a "disguise" kuno. And then he hit on a girl who wasn't interested in him. Hahahahaa!
