Last April, this actor and his actress girlfriend met up in New York City for their network’s U.S. concert tour. When work was finally over and the actor had free time to enjoy the city, he opted to hang out with some hot guys instead of his actress girl friend. His refusal to spend quality time with her in the Big Apple made her realized that she will never be able to change him. She entered into the relationship hoping that she will be able to reform him but the New York City incident was the last straw. She was also very frustrated that all throughout their relationship, he never attempted to be intimate with her because according to him, his religion prohibits him from having pre-marital sex with her. Right there and then in the City that Never Sleeps, the two of them finally decided that it was best for them to put their relationship to rest.
This story might come as a surprise to some of you who recently saw the two of them interviewing each other on a showbiz oriented talk show. I just do not know if you were keen to observe that after their interview, an acknowledgment of the brand that the two of them are endorsing immediately followed it. In short, the two of them were just pretending to be sweet to each other on air because they were obligated to do so.

Ewan ko ba with this girl bakit siya pumayag sa gimik na ito. nakakaloka mas lalo niya sinisira ang career niya. alam naman ng buo pilipinas na isang girlalo ang "boyfriend" kuno niya. Matalino pa naman na bata pero pagdating sa desiyon sa buhay/career palpak.. nakakahiya lang. :( i used to like her pa naman. sana hinde na lang siya nag artista. ang showbiz dito sa PIlipinas masydo marami kalokohan..tsk tsk tsk. tulad nitong si P and K isang ka-cheapan.

ReplyDeleteOh, this is the easiest one so far. My officemates and I were just talking about this over lunch yesterday, how they went on the show, and it was sooooo obvious it was just for their endorsement.
ReplyDeleteI just wish they would stop it na. They owe it to their fans to be honest. And they are losing the respect of the non-fans who know better, fast... While I always disliked the girl (I find her cloying), I at least respected her for the civic and charitable causes she works for. But when she went into the "relationship", it gave me the impression that it's all about the money for her. Besides, what sort of an example is she giving young people (especially women) with this? That it's ok to be a someone's beard if you'r being well compensated for it? Where's her self-respect? Didn't her mother teach her that because she was too busy eating lechon?
Haaaaaay.

And poor P: blessed with talent & good looks, but cursed with the love that dare not speak its name. Like Rock Hudson, he must live in the shadows of subterfuge & pretense in order to preserve a career. I can almost imagine the emotional torment---the sadness he must feel everytime he goes home at night.

ReplyDeleteThis is definitely P. he had a short-lived romance with older singer P and years after, she admitted that they were indeed an item for a short time and that nothing "hot hot hot" happened between them because his religion does not allow it. Goes without saying that people who were there when she said that smirked and guffawed.

ReplyDeleteThe item seems to refer to K and P but, and that is a big BUT, K agreed to be P's beard. The article makes her sound like a victim which she is so not hehe. I think that FP's source is poisoned fruit, sandwich the lie between 2 truths. There's nothing innocent about K and the whole bearding setup. A similar attempt was made a few years back on an actress that was freshly pirated from her home network. They were dangling the whole angle on how the two fit and tanned celebrities were crushing on each other but she ended up with the governor's son. I guess she was neither interested nor needed to be P's beard.

Hintay na lang tayo kung may aaminin nga silang hiwalayan. Baka nga kasi publicity lang dahil may upcoming movie si K. Kung meron mang nakakaalam ng totong pagkatao ni P, si K yun for sure dahil madalas naman din silang magkasama. Dahil sa religion ni P kaya hindi/ayaw nya sa intimacy. Syempre natuto na sya sa past mistake nya ( though kahit kailan hindi pwedeng iconsider na mistake and isang anak). Let's give them time para magsalita, kung meron man silang dapat na aminin. Let's be happy for K with her upcoming movie wih S and hopefully makarecover sila ni P sa issue na ito.

Pretenses can only last for a certain period of time. I should know, i have been in a relationship similar to this. The only difference with K and me is that she was in on it and i was still doubting and was hoping na maging lalaki sha talaga. I guess K was also thinking P would change pero d mo na talaga yan mapagbago. If i were him, I'd own up to it and have the happiness and peace of mind everyone of us deserves.

Then S from the Big House came along, and suffice it to say that it was one of the triggers for his getting "de-railed" from the "straight" path. As to why P & S didn't work out is another story.

Btw, hindi ako kinilig sa interview na yun kundi kinilabutan ako I swear! Idagdag mo pa na nag-english pa si fafa P with matching accent, Diyos por Santo!!
Ganito na lang...maglabas ng video/photos of P proving that he is a gay nga, para matapos na yung mga chismis tungkol sa kanya. Hindi porke nakita syang may kasamang guy, bakla na sya. Hindi din porke hindi nya kasama si K sa mga lakad nya, ibig sabihin lalaki ang gusto nyang makasama. That's unfair! Oo may relasyon sila, pero kailangan din naman nila ng time para sa isa-t isa. At the end of the day, we have to keep guessing until the actual people pertained to in the blind item finally decide to come out in the open, right? Ano naman ang masama kung si P ay talagang gay? Masama bang maging gay? Siguro masama ang maging gay kung niloloko mo ang mga tao - fans, specially - into thinking that you're not when you really are a screaming queen. Mapanlinlang na gay ang masama, not being gay per se.
At sa mga rabid fans ni P, kung umamin ba sya na gay sya o kaya may maipakita na ebidensya na talagang bakla sya, mawawalan na ba kayo ng gana sa kanya? Tatanggalin nyo ba ang suporta nyo sa kanya? If so, then you're no better than him. You all deserve each other.

ReplyDeleteAyan na ang P&K fans! But actually, my suspicion is that there are just a few fans who are commenting multiple times. They all sound the same, sunud-sunod ang comments looking for "evidences". Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteBottom line is, this is an open secret. I know someone who works in the network and it's widely acknowledged na talaga that P is gay. I can even list down his former boyfriends, as one commenter demanded, but I won't, out of respect for the people involved. Also, doesn't the fact that this rumor hasn't died after all this time (it's been about a decade na, right?) mean something? If there was no truth to it, this would be long forgotten. But it persists, despite all this time, despite all his "girlfriends" and his denials.
An no one's ridiculing him because he's gay. Read the comments. What's angering people is that they're taking all their fans for a ride and making money off their "relationship" when it's all a big fat lie.
P x K all right. their "relationship" brouhaha is sure creating waves for their career.

Filipino audiences are really smart and the brand that the two endorsed are already a staple part of my grocery list. I think this happened when K was asked to read a few lines from a talk show with B W and company. She was with Mr M and also rumored to be gay young hunk.

Showbiz po itey at ilang daang taon nang ginagamit ang loveteam formula. May nagkakatuluyan at meron din naman na hindi. P has been in this business for 12 years now and he never had a single girlfriend in all that time. Never mind not having a girlfriend, he was never even seen or known to have dated anyone in the business and he is surrounded with available and beautiful young women in his business. Even before he joined his church (his excuse), he never went out with any woman, while his contemporaries were dating actresses and celebrities left and right. Something was very strange, indeed. I know of a couple men just like P, they don't go out with women either and they are closeted gays.

Kahit gusto mo ilabas yan, pipigilan at pipigilan yan ng mga may pera at power to prevent the downfall of P's career. Same with K (not that she is really THAT sikat for me. She just gets the projs not because she is SUPER talented but because theyre pretty known). You dont need to be a scientist to know that in the business, maitatago at maitatago ang gusto itago. The network will cover it up. Look at what happened to a writer/talk show host who published a blind item about P and S na nakita nya daw somewhere. The writer had to retract simply because marami daw magpoprove na they were with P at that time na nakita niya.
And btw, if nauumay ka na and you dont believe it at all, why are you commenting? If you are so sure of your belief, there's no need to go ranting bout how people think P is gay.

Wherever P goes the crowd esp. the girls go wild! So, it's not true na downfall na nya! While K is just new to showbusiness, nde pa nya kuha lahat ang masa pero she is not a bad endorser! Actually, K is more popular abroad than here!

There was this new male news anchor before in the family network, galing sa station nila sa province. Kinuha nila for his good looks and charming personality on TV, so bagong salta sa Manila. Kakadating pa lang, may nakikipagtextmate na daw sa kanya anonymously, saying that they are from the same network and that they should meet up. Si new news anchor naman (take note: straight sha ha!), since mejo eengerts engerts pang probinsyano, he automatically assumed na girl. When the "eyeballed" each other (yuck the term but I can't think of anything else hahaha!), si P pala! Waaahhh!!! Again, since bagito tong si new news anchor, pinagkalat na sa department nya sa network, not knowing how prized P is para siraan. Yun tuloy, he was "let go" by the network shortly after. Pasalamat sila, hindi madaldal ang mga tao sa department so wala mashadong nakaalam nito. Ako lang kasi I know someone who works in the department hahaha! So you see, P is really well-protected by his handlers. Kahit pa gustuhin nyang magladlad, hindi sha papayagan ng network nya!

She had to see it to believe it...and did she see it! Well, eventually, the whole thing unravelled & he came out. So P's rabid fans should really take this piece of unsolicited advice: don't get too smug with pooh-poohing the stories & whispers about your idol. Yung una nakatrabaho nya sa teleserye abroad yung exgf ng hunk na ito nang imbento na may nakita syang milagro pero wala naman bitter lang kaya nag asawa agad inamin nya sa writer na kakilala ko na inimbento lang nya para makaganti dahil hinihiwalayan sya. Yung 2nd hunk na galing sa bahay, nakasama nya sa pagkanta nahuli pa ng sikat na writer sa isang hotel pinagtakpan lang ng lahat. I'm sure her mom finally see no reason to complain of this hook-up this time knowing that the worst possible scenario out of this relationship is if P over-permed K's hair. she (mom) can breathe a sigh of relief and finish her lechon in peace (notorious for her huge appetite, rumored to finish an entire lechon de leche in one sitting in another BI) in spite of these, what disturbs me is to see this girl still insists on acting all innocent and coy as if she wasn't involved in a previous scandal na sinalo lang ng nanay nya. Damage control committee daw kasi nanay nya. well whatever, some says she's just being a mom, but i wish they'd owe up to their actions and credit their fans with some sense that they'll have their support no matter what. (ex. jennylyn mercado)

ReplyDeleteBreaking news: "P" and "K" have finally broken up "secretly" two weeks ago because "K" finally got fed up with "P" being so busy but actually is somewhere having fun with "friends." Just wait for the right time for these two to announce their breakup... my guess is next month when the new movie of "P" with comedy/actress "AP" is shown.

There are so many people here claiming that their cousin's friend, or Uncle's friend, or friend of a cousin of a friend's friend told them that P is gay. Unless you're the very person who saw P HHWW with another guy or smooching a guy, you can never truly say that P is gay. Give some guy the benefit of the doubt. The Manager of J started it all because J fell head over heels over P, yet it was a love unrequited.
