This girl interrupted actress has been in and out of the hospital because of her drug problem. Sometime late last year, she was diagnosed by her doctor with a severe case of depression that led her to experiment with different kinds of drugs. Earlier this year, she was unconscious when her family members rushed her to the hospital. Her father even voluntarily confined himself in the same hospital in spite that he was not sick so that they will have an alibi if the press finds out about their family's presence in that hospital.
In spite of her drug problem and her alleged extra marital affair with a wealthy businessman who has been spotted with her many times in the casino, her husband still tries to save their marriage. In fact, more than a month ago, he even brought her and their kids to an island in the south for a family vacation. The weird thing was a few weeks after their trip, she backslid into drugs and was confined again in her favorite hospital because of overdose. Was she depressed this time around because her big time businessman had decided to stop seeing her? I think she already deserves a gold loyalty card from this hospital because of her frequent admittance.
After going through all of these tragic experiences with her, her husband still manages to keep up with her bipolar behavior. His family members have tried convincing him to leave her but he professed to them that he is willing to do everything possible to make things work out for them. Having said this, his undying spirit definitely makes him deserve the title "Husband of the Year".

Wow! I commend him for sticking with his wife. My sister was a very close friend of this couple; She even told me when they were just starting, he would call them up late at night, crying because the wife is threatening to leave him and asking them if they could talk to her for her not to leave him. super bait ni husband grabe!

ReplyDeleteI'm on the fence about the wife. I feel sorry for her if she is indeed bipolar. I can only imagine how difficult it is for her. But at the same time, why did/is she cheat/ing on her husband? Could she still count that as a symptom of her disorder? I'm not an expert, but I don't think it could be considered a direct side effect. Does depression directly cause infidelity? Again, I'm not an expert, but I don't think so. There must be some underlying intent for her to be driven to infidelity.
ReplyDeleteI feel for the husband, though, and the kids. It's difficult enough to deal with the mood swings related to bipolar disorder, he has the infidelity to deal with pa. Kawawa naman. I can't blame him for wanting to save his marriage and I wish him and his family all the best. I just hope that staying with his wife won't adversely affect the kids.

ReplyDeletehave met the couple. the husband is super nice and pogi pa in person, so manly. si wife, talagang may sayad. maingay. one time during our conversations, she was talking about this particular fat famous actress. about how this actress doesn't take care of her body and have let herself become too fat. she added that this super fat famous actress doesn't have discipline at all. a few months after, look at her now. hasn't she gottern fat as well? loka-lokang babae. kung pwede nga lang agawin si husband nya from her, i would. mabait, pogi, desente, from a good family,marunong mag-ayos ng bahay at magaling magluto. masarap syang gumawa ng homemade sardines. :-)

Kakatawa naman itong nagpost nito, maybe it's u who has a lot to learn, pagaralan mo kung kelan ginagamit ang comma at ang apostrophe.
I think some people who comment here are purposely making the issue unbelievable, maybe posters from C's camp.
ReplyDeleteBipolar or attitude problem talaga? Depressed and distant then pag nakausap naman very hostile. Palagay ko naguugat ito sa depression niya sa career niya plus hindi din siya satisfied sa husband niya, may pagka weakling kasi, she's the one running that marriage and she feels na siya din ang bumubuhay sa asawa niya. I think its karma na kahit anong gawin niya hindi siya pumayat payat.
We're getting better by the day at guessing these blind items but this one is easy:) The husband of the year is a devout Christian. Members and leaders of his D-group have probably been his greatest influence in his decisions. Thus, despite her medical condition, he is still fighting for their marriage.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, in one of your articles, the Handsome Rhino, the sister of his ex-girlfriend from the south is also bi-polar. What this condition did to her was make her feel insecure so she would resort to drugs and affairs to make her feel good. She even tried to commit suiucide. Her marriage was really a disaster but her husband loves her so much that he stood by her, brought her to see the best doctor and sees to it that she never misses on her medication. Now, they are very much okay. True love does conquer all.

ReplyDeleteKapitbahay ko yan sila! They have their own home studio pala, that's why pala there's always a van of some sort of studio parked outside their house. I often see the husband, he jogs or sometimes bikes around the village. I rarely see the girl, though. I don't know the truth behind this story, and I'm not contesting it in anyway, but let me just share to you how very helpful they were during Ondoy - well, now that I think about it, the husband was very helpful. But still, the girl was their for moral support. Hehe.

I have bipolar friends, yung talagang clinically diagnosed. Parang wala namang kinalaman yun sa pagtake ng drugs and cheating. Choice yun eh. Ang personality ng tao hindi lang naman naka base dun lang sa disorder na yun but also sa environment, sa family and how she was raised. Baka bipolar nga sya + malandi and materialistic like her sisters. Napakasamang combination.

Anyone doesn't need highfalutin words to present oneself as a good writer. FP's style doesn't have a hint of malicious intent which you probably might be expecting in most blind items) in writing his story no matter how juicy it is. He writes it as told. Si C is really insane. They're our neighbors here in QC. Sometimes she bugs another neighbor, the head of the homeowner's assoc, to report that her car has been "stolen". So the village guards are alerted, and carnapping reports are made, it turns out dala lang pala ni husband of the year ang kotse nila. There were times too that she orders the security not to let husband inside the village kasi trespasser daw.

Pero on the other side, I admire the husband coz his really doing his best para manatiling buo ang pamilya niya.
they were my passenger a few months ago to thailand for their honeymoon. C was very healthy then. i didn't know she was a druggie.

Wag na pag-awayan ang issue sa grammar. Ang importante eh ni-recognize ni FP yung weakness nya at open syang matuto at mag-improve. At the end of the day, blogging is still about writing. The subject and the way it's presented always go side-by-side. Kudos to FP for writing his stories the way he would tell them.

In one episode of her now defunct drama anthology, she was so drugged that in one scene where she's supposed to hand a baby to another actress, she dropped the baby! She, seriously, fell asleep in the middle of the scene. Buti nasalo ng another actress 'yung baby.

I always wondered who the wealthy businessman was, totally clueless but with a few keywords it lead me to a controversial businessman - as controversial as girl interrupted! Couldn't she pick a wealthy businessman gaya ng kay miss talented? This is so sad! Except for the kids, hubby and weight - she's like Lilo, talented but by now you wouldn't be surprised if she just goes kaput you know? I never liked her, found her a brat with a sense of entitlement like no other but still this saddens me. I always found her cute, not gorge as her ate pre-surgery days but definitely cute.
