True, dapat DOLCE VITA or DULCE VIDA... bwahhahahaha.... Hindi pinag isispan ng mabuti ng may ari... kalerkey... ngayon 2loy mappaisip ka if its fake or not... hahahha..
Dolce italian means sweet. VIDA which is her name in Spanish means life. So Sweet life. Kinombine Lang ang dalawa ate. Brand niya yan Hindi yan product name. Kalerks.
"Dolce Vida" because the designer's name is Vida. Kaso nga lang, nakita ko na mga designs na to sa upscale jewelry store sa Manila Pen run by a family of jewelers :(
DOLCE VIDA is my 2nd brand. All pieces under DOLCE VIDA are not my design:) They are all imported. The manufacturer of DOLCE VIDA is also the manufacturer of a famous jewelry brand in US . When I saw these pieces, I thought why not bring it to the Philippines? I'm sure Filipinos would love it because aside from the fact that they are beautiful, they are also very affordable. They also used Swarovski crystals. Quality is also good:) Price ranges from 350.00 to 1500.00 only:) Not bad at all right? Thanks everyone and thank you mike for the feature:) LOVE FASHIONPULIS:)
Dear Vida, Do you know about plural nouns? They are nouns that are already in plural form and thus should not be pluralized. Examples are: sheep, people, police, fish, stuff, and, yes, jewelry. Jewelries is not a word. How does that old song go? "Pa ingles-ingles pa, mali-mali naman... wag na lang!" Something you should think about when naming a "high-end" jewelry line. Love, A fellow creator of brand names
Thank you But I already know. In fact, we're already working on our site since February and changing it to vida lim. We started since 2006 and the name VIDA jewelry was already taken so we changed it to jewelries instead and just wait when vidajewelry domain name would be available again. I started with stringing then wiring and so on and so forth....I didn't expect to do well. This Started out as a hobby.I believe that your workmanship, your design or the quality of your work would speak for itself. I am not claiming that I am good in English. I am a designer and not a writer. I will definitely have mistakes:) we all have our strong points and weak points and English is definitely not my cup of tea:) thank you entrepreneur:)

BRAVO ENTREPRENEUR!!!!! I WAS ALSO ABOUT TO SAY THAT TO VIDA THAT PLURAL NOUNS SHOULDN'T BE PLURALIZED AS TO WHAT SHE DID TO "JEWELRY" TO JEWELRIES.
Oh my...what happened? This is just a simple grammatical error which was already blown out of proportion. (funny) guys, I said I'm not good in English. It doesn't necessarily mean I'm barok. I'm Chinese but grew up here in the Philippines. First language is Tagalog, 2nd is Chinese. I've been dealing with foreigners for years now. So far, I have more client now than before. Just think of this, china is now the richest country in the world. They are bad in English. It's your working attitude that's important. Your focus should be on your workmanship, the quality of your work and of course you should be hardworking and not focusing yourself on unimportant things. That's the secret to success.

ReplyDeleteThey all look like nice replicas of a famous jewellers' line here in Manila. Vida should have made something of her own.
ReplyDelete"Dolce Vida" because the designer's name is Vida. Kaso nga lang, nakita ko na mga designs na to sa upscale jewelry store sa Manila Pen run by a family of jewelers :(
ReplyDeleteI think the name is Dolce VIDA because VIDA is the name of the owner/company. So its appropriate. Dapat may Catch, dba?

ReplyDelete說得真好。恭喜 VIDA!
ReplyDeleteVIDA,
ReplyDelete是的,因為英語只是一門外語在中國,不同的是菲律賓,它被認為是第二語言。因此,我們需要良好的英語。
Vida said: "All pieces under DOLCE VIDA are not my design"
ReplyDeleteThanks for explaining :) That's better and more honorable than copying someone else's designs :) Cheers!
