We arrived in Malta last April 24, 2011. Our hotel was located in Valletta, the capital of Malta. Although it was a five star hotel, I was disappointed that the rooms did not have Internet connection. I had to update my blog from the hotel's lobby and the connection was very slow that is why I was not able to post these photos immediately.
Your photos are so much better now, Mike! Love 'em!
ReplyDeleteNasa Malta ka pa? Check out La Cuccagna, this is a family owned pizzeria. Classmate ko ng gradschool yung may-ari- Carla Degaetano. Tatlong Filipina lang ang kilala nyan (yung yaya at 2 kaming pinay na classmates nya sa UWE, Bristol). She'll figure out who sent you there : )

We lives there cuz my Dad's company assigned him to Egypt and the company's head office was there in Malta I had good memories as a pre- teener . Our house in the states is full of Antiques that my mom collected from there ! Me and my siblings plan to visit there next year god willing . Have a safe trip !

PS - Keep up the great job ! I follow you like any thing !
The 1st and 2nd pictures somehow reminds me of the old infrastructures in Binondo =) Walking distance away from our bakeshop in Lavezares is Juan Luna's mansion which I never knew existed until I passed by it a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteIf only our government knows how to give importance to our historical places and learn to preserve our remaining old structures around Manila area...
@sheenuhbaby -Only in our dreams but it will never happen because of corruption.

ReplyDeletesad to say yes. Eh look nga passport renewal alone here in Singapore takes ATLEAST 2months or more. I applied for my son's passport mid March & I got a call from PH embassy that my son's passport will be released by June pa daw. What can we expect nga naman from our gov't?!
Welcome to Malta!
