If this fashion stylist/consultant were to represent the Philippines in the world's biggest liar competition, I am sure that he would definitely bring home the gold medal. Lying is an art and unfortunately this stylist has not perfected this art. Let me share with you his Top 10 most famous lies:

If he studied elementary and high school at DLSZ, then why did his school mates confirm that they graduated together from a school in Marikina?
Lie #2
If he lives on the 47th floor of Paragon Plaza, then why does Paragon Plaza have 42 stories?
Lie #3
If his mom served as the ambassador to Spain, then why don't they have exactly identical last names? (His last name has De, the ambassador's last name did not)
Lie #4
If his grandmother lives in Dasmarinas Village, then why does he ask friends to drop him off at the gasoline station outside Dasmarinas Village every time?
Lie #5
If he was really off to LA that certain day, then why was he spotted by friends in a bar that same night? (LA stands for Lower Antipolo not Los Angeles?)
Lie #6
If he never wears footwear that costs less than 10,000 Php, then why does he wear espadrilles? (Do espadrilles cost that much now?)
Lie #7
If he backpacked in Europe for two weeks, then why were there no photos? (His camera was busted?)

If he has a collection of paintings by national artists in his Marikina stockroom, then why can't he show them to friends? (Paintings got submerged in water during a flood?)

If his genuine gold Rolex watch broke into pieces during a car accident, then why can't he send it to the service center for repair? (He had the gold pieces melted and converted into a pendant?)

Sadly, I've been witness to more fairy tales from him that I don't even take him seriously when he's around.

Laway lang puhunan ni manay and nothing else. when we're in front of him, we all smile and besos and laugh at his anecdotes and fairy tales, his jokes and tsismis, but at the back of everyone's heads, we all agree on one thing - he's a high grade class A monogram LV knock off. Snaps snaps for the social climbing effort. Always amusing to see him fall. Anyways, he's tall enough not to mind the change in height.
ReplyDeleteHe said that he wants a Macbook as a replacement for his busted Iphone....maybe this Iphone is also a part of his make-believe collections of gadgets, expensive cars, branded bags and never ending list of this and that which he will never have. He looks like a sinagasaan na version of Paolo Paraiso and Zanjoe Marudo. I have seen a few threads of conversations & comments from his friends(2008)...super squaky (squatter) their choice of words.

ReplyDeleteTRUE... he said his grandma lives in Dasma but ask him the address, he cant even name which street.. that he and his "friends" bought an island in palawan and divided it amongst themselves... that at one point he was a victim of car napping and worse, the travel docs of his mom was in that car and she's scheduled to leave that same day yet she managed to exit the country without passports and visa, etc (being part of the travel docs). makes me wonder in awe that the mother is immune to some immigration procedures just because she's is a... what do you call it..."AMBASSADOR TO SPAIN?"... that he parks his "CAR" in shang mall along edsa and ride the train to ayala on his way to work everyday... that he speaks spanish and if you visit his facebook it says that he's from Chueca, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain (este hijo de una perra no tiene la menor idea lo que habla de. compasión!)...I can just go on and on but my computer is slow now it needs more RAM. which reminds me, is the laptop he bought from a former officemate on terms have been paid in full already? he hasn't paid for the longest time, i mean years, because... because... (you can name all the lame reasons he can come up with)

ReplyDeleteOemgeeee! We have common friends and I met him a week after Ondoy. I remember we were in a club and we were sharing our ondoy stories. At that time, he was sharing the following:
ReplyDelete1. How disappointed he was that his hidalgo and acuna paintings were submerged during the typhoon. I was just listening with his conversation with my friend and I felt how "airy" it was. With his physical attributes, I certainly didn't believe at all. So I was scrolling my phone to keep me busy since I don't know him at all.
2. Their "garage" in the basement area got flooded. Meaning, all their cars. And with that, I ordered another glass of vodka 7 to keep me sane with his stories. My friend asked me to get one too. I wonder why.
3. All his yorkies died. Then I quit... totally left my friend and danced instead. Hahaha.
Lies lies lies. Born in the year of the RAM???
Why can't he just accept and be happy of what he has already? I mean Fashion does'nt always mean expensive. As Coco Chanel said “Elegance does not consist in putting on a new dress.” meaning, you dont have to buy new clothes or bags to look good, if he really is a good stylist he can wear a basic white shirt in 100 ways.
ReplyDeleteive heard most of his lies here, seen him borrowing a car, saw that orange birkin bag, heard his dogs drowned in the flood and if the rumors are true then we should not judge him as he will get worse if we do, instead to those people who knew this guy we should let him feel that its ok to be what he really is because if he finds out that even his friends are judging him then to whom will he run to seek comfort? most likely hes gonna kill himself.i know that its his fault why he chooses to lie about himself but as friends of RDV we have to be there and help him change and be comfortable in being in his own brown skin.
ReplyDeleteblake if you know him too well, you'll realize he's not the type to accept this kind of confrontation/embarrassment. we tried not to tolerate his stories but he kept on insisting and pushing his lies. we felt offended that we were being true to him and him on the other hand just kept on sugarcoating things. he just wouldn't change, he's been like this since highschool according to his friends in OLOPS marikina. btw, nobody knows him from CSA/DLSZ as he claimed to finish highschool in.

I tried to make him see it's all good and I don't care about what he has or doesn't have. What happened? He still lied. Even if he was already caught red handed, he would still lie. Now, if you are a friend as you say you are, you would confront him. Use this blog as proof that many people are on to him and his lies.
You say you've heard the lies and seen the borrowed stuff. Did you confront him about it? If not, why? If you truly are a friend, you wouldn't condone such acts. Who else will tell him if not his friends. I've met some of his friends. They all just seem like enablers. Letting him get away with it. Are those really friends? Think about it.
Enablers, YES people, or whatever you call them are not real friends.

ive just realised his lies and all when i saw this blog but before it didnt bother me no one in our circle told me about this until recently so i wasnt aware as our common friends know that if i knew what he is definitely id confront him and yes i would inform him about this blog i just dont have the chance to meet up with him yet, il let u know if i had the chance to talk to him hopefully this blog would wake him up and not the other way around.
